Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the website, NeutralEye may process:
- Article text that you paste into the analyzer.
- Article URLs that you submit for extraction and analysis.
- Extracted article text returned from a submitted URL.
- Analysis results, confidence values, examples, recommendations, and related metadata.
- Basic technical information, such as browser type, device information, timestamps, error logs, and request metadata.
- If you create an account: your email address, authentication provider (email/password or Google), account ID, and account creation date.
- If you are signed in: analysis results saved to your account, stored on our servers, and your daily usage count.
- If you subscribe to a paid plan: billing-related information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide article extraction, bias-signal analysis, and structured output.
- Authenticate you and manage your account, usage limits, and plan status.
- Display saved results, comparison views, and history features in the product.
- Enforce daily usage limits and Pro plan entitlements.
- Maintain, debug, secure, and improve the reliability of the service.
- Investigate errors, abuse, security incidents, or misuse of the service.
- Comply with legal obligations if required.
How Information Is Shared
We may share submitted text, URLs, extracted content, and related request metadata with service providers that help operate NeutralEye, such as hosting, authentication, logging, security, article extraction, AI analysis, and payment providers. These providers process information so NeutralEye can deliver the requested service.
We do not sell submitted article content or personal data. We do not share submitted article content for targeted advertising.
Accounts And Cloud Storage
If you create a NeutralEye account, your email address and account details are stored securely using Supabase, our authentication and database provider. When you are signed in, analysis results you run may be saved to your account and synced across devices.
If you use NeutralEye without signing in, analysis history is stored only in your local browser and remains on your device. You can clear it through your browser settings.
Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Locally saved results remain in your browser until you delete them or clear browser storage. Cloud-saved results are retained while your account exists and deleted when you delete your account. Server-side operational records, if created, are kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, debug, or comply with legal obligations for the service.
